A BRAWL at an Oxfordshire supermarket allegedly saw men fight each other with metal bars.

Police were called to the Banbury branch of Morrisons yesterday after 'disorder' broke out amid the aisles.

Three men were arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries, according to Thames Valley Police's Banbury twitter account.

Officers tweeted: "Officers have responded to a report of males fighting with metal bars at Morrison's, Banbury, at 11.30am.

"Three males arrested from Morrison’s have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

"Thank you to those who have contacted us - we will be in touch shortly.

"We are particularly interested in events leading up to the disorder in store."

Police have urged any witnesses of the incident to call 101 quoting reference number 43190086264.

The supermarket is located in Swan Close Road and is one of two Oxfordshire branches of Morrisons, along with Carterton.
