The documents, which include full details of layout, public spaces and cycle lanes, follow a previous application being withdrawn last year after complaints from councillors and residents.
The developer said it had made changes to include better connection for cycle routes to the town centre, a reduction in the number of four bedroom properties and an increase in two and three bedroom homes, as well as more fully dispersing the 70 affordable within the site.
