OXFORDSHIRE’S education services will be discussed at a council meeting tomorrow.

The county council education scrutiny committee will talk about the future of Northfield School in Oxford, which has been put into special measures by Ofsted, and will receive a verbal update from the deputy director for education relating to the cabinet’s approval for rebuilding the school on its existing site.

It will also be looking at the Annual Education Performance Report of 2017-18 to see what progress has been made over the past year as well as an update on the committee’s deep dive into school exclusions.

The meeting starts at 1pm at County Hall.
