A COUNTY-wide summer festival to inspire local people to take action against climate change will return this year.
From June 8 to June 16, people can make a renewed effort to take care of the environment during Oxford Green Week.
The festival uses culture, creativity and community to show local people how they can save money, get fit and be happy whilst being kind to the environment.
Last year Lorna King, plastic-free blogger and activist, and Tabitha Whiting, Founder of Jarfull plastic-free grocery deliveries, taught people how to reduce personal plastic waste including the best spots to shop plastic-free in Oxford.

The festival is a ‘celebration of ‘all things good and green’ in the city and this year's theme is ‘One Planet Living,’ in recognition of social enterprise Bioregional’s One Planet Oxfordshire project.
Residents can also take part in three different activities during the month of June for a chance to win prizes.
The week-long festival starts with the Big Green Day Out on June 8 on Broad Street and is coordinated by Oxford City Council in partnership with local organisations such as Community Action Groups Oxfordshire and University of Oxford.
Organisers would like businesses to sponsor or support Oxford Green Week.
