A DECISION on whether a primary school should be allowed to build a controversial extension will be made today.
Oxfordshire County Council’s planning committee meet at 2pm to discuss Benson Primary School’s plans.
School leaders want to erect the block – housing three new classrooms, toilets, a plant room and storage areas – on part of the playing field.

However some residents have labelled the new teaching block ‘disgusting’.
Today's meeting will be held at County Hall on New Road in Oxford.
Members of public are welcome to attend, as with all county council sessions.
