A MAN armed with a knife forced six people into their kitchen while he raided the rest of the home during a burglary in Oxford.
Police say the man entered the address in Rivermead Road in the Rose Hill area at around 3.40pm on Monday.
The victims were shut in the kitchen while the man went upstairs before leaving shortly after and driving off in a silver and blue BMW vehicle.
Nothing was stolen during the incident and no-one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black man, around 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build. He was dressed in a black puffer-style jacket and white trainers.
Investigating officer detective sergeant Kevin Parsons, of Force CID at Oxford police station, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this incident, which was a traumatic experience for the victims.
“I am asking anyone who was in the area at the time and thinks they heard or saw something to get in touch with police.
“Anyone with information should call 101 and quote reference number 43190014194.”
