ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984-SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A43 TRUNK ROAD (BAYNARDS GREEN TO BRACKLEY) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an Order on the A43 Trunk Road, between Baynards Green and Brackley in the Counties of Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire, to allow resurfacing, sign replacement and general maintenance works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to, at different times, -
(1) impose a 50 miles per hour speed restriction on the northbound and southbound carriageways of the A43 from its roundabout junction with the B4100 (Baynards Green Roundabout), at Baynards Green, and its roundabout junction with the A421 and the B4031 (Barley Mow Roundabout) south of Evenly;
(2) close the northbound and southbound carriageways of the A43 between its junction with Baynards Green Roundabout, and its roundabout junction with the A422 and Oxford Road, at Brackley;
(3) close any slip road or link road leading to or from the length of the A43 described in (2) above;
(4) close any layby adjacent to the length of the A43 described in (2) above;
(5) close the footway/cycle track adjacent to the northbound carriageway of the A43 between the access to and the egress from RAF Croughton, near Brackley;
(6) prohibit vehicles from entering or leaving the length of the A43 described in (2) above at its junction with any side road; and
(7) prohibit any person riding or leading a horse from entering or leaving the A43 at its junction with the bridleway -
   (a) approximately 1930 metres south of the centre point of Barley Mow Roundabout;
   (b) approximately 2700 metres south of the centre point of Barley Mow Roundabout; and
   (c) approximately 3840 metres south of the centre point of Barley Mow Roundabout.

The work will be carried out overnight between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours with some full weekend closures between 20:00 hours on Friday and 06:00 hours on Monday. The work is expected to start at 20:00 hours on Monday 10 August 2020 and continue for six weeks. The speed restriction will be in force from 20:00 hours on Monday 10 August 2020 for twenty four hours per day for the duration of the works. The layby closures will be in force from 13:00 hours on Monday 10 August 2020 for twenty four hours per day for the duration of the works. The Order will come into force on 3 August 2020. Vehicles being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes will be exempt from the speed restrictions and closures. Special forces vehicles will be exempt from the speed restriction. Vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures. Pedestrians engaged in police, fire brigade or ambulance activities or engaged in any activity in connection with the works will be exempt from the footway closure.
Diversion routes via the M40 and the A422 and vice versa and via the B4100, theA4095,theA4421 andtheA421 and vice versa will be signed. Local diversion routes will also be in operation.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984-SECTION 14(1)(a) THE M40 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 15, WARWICKSHIRE) (CONNECTING ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an Order on the M40 Motorway, in the County of Warwickshire, to allow cyclical maintenance works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close, -
(1) any slip road leading to or from the M40 at Junction 15; and
(2) the dedicated lane leading from the M40 southbound exit slip road at Junction 15, to the link road leading to the northbound carriageway of the A46.
The work will be carried out overnight between 21:30 hours and 05:30 hours and is expected to start on Thursday 23 July 2020 and continue for two nights. The Order will come into force on 20 July 2020. Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority, ambulance or traffic officer purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.
Diversion routes via the A452, the M42 Junction 4 and M40 Junction 14 will be signed.
