ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Spelsbury, Road through Dean, OX7 3LB Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 11 November 2019 Coming into force: 18 November 2019 This Order is being introduced for installation of fibre optic cables which are anticipated to take 8 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the unnamed road through Dean. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Charlbury Road & Chadlington Road and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref T7144/MR)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Carterton, Stanmore Crescent Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 11 November 2018 Coming into force: 14 November 2018 This Order is being introduced because of redevelopment works of buildings, main drainage, new roads and footpaths and services which are anticipated to take 18 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Stanmore Crescent between Feltwell Close and the new road recently constructed. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and the works. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4020 Upavon Way. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref T7125/MR)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Westwell, Burford, Unnamed road from Westwell to Holwell Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 25 November 2019 Coming into force: 2 December 2019 This Order is being introduced because of fibre optic cable & verge reinstatement works which are anticipated to take 2 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the section of unnamed road from Westwell to Holwell. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the A40 and A361 and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref T7065/MR)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Fifield & Idbury, Idbury Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 25 November 2019 Coming into force: 2 December 2019 This Order is being introduced because of fibre optic cables reinstatement works which are anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Idbury Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the unnamed road from St Nicholas' Church to the A424, the A424, Merrymouth Road and vice-versa. (CURBRIDGE PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 11 November 2019 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 18 November 2019 as a result of the development of land adjacent to A4095 Bampton Road, Curbridge extends the 30mph limit on that road north-eastwards by 50 metres, replacing the existing national speed limit by the same amount.

A copy of the proposed order and all detailed documents may be inspected at County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX1 1ND between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday; and at WODC Town Centre Shop, 3 Welch Way, Witney, OX28 6JH, from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 5pm Fridays (Ref CM.12.6.185)
