NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under Sections 82 & 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders, due to development works adjacent to the road, is to extend the existing 30 mph speed limit on the A4130 High Road north-westwards from the village by a further 105 metres (shortening the current 50mph by the same distance).

The existing Brightwell-cum-Sotwell Parish and Didcot Area Speed Limit orders will be revoked/replaced. Documents giving full details of all of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting:

Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made, and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below no later than 13 December 2019. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Wallingford, Calvin Thomas Way Left turns only onto Calvin Thomas Way Date of Order: 25 November 2019 Coming into force: 2 December 2019 This Order is being introduced because of development related works which are anticipated to take 6 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily direct that all vehicles will turn left only (southwards) from the 2 site access junctions onto Calvin Thomas Way. Vehicles will not be able to turn right into the access roads. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
