NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire Shenington with Alkerton Footpath No. 22 Modification Order 2018 On the 8 July 2019, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-

adding to them the footpath from Stocking Lane Shenington at SP 3703 4283 to the unclassified unmetalled highway near Olde Grimes Cottage at SP 3710 4287. A copy of the order and order map is available online at

A copy of the order and order map may be purchased from the Countryside Records team, Oxfordshire County Council, County Hall, Oxford OX1 1ND, at the price of £3.50 per copy. The order as confirmed became operative on the date of confirmation but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of Schedule 15 to the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from 18 July 2019, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
