India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been found guilty of "conduct contrary to the spirit of the game" and fined 50 per cent of his match fee, the International Cricket Council has announced.

Jadeja, 25, was involved in an incident with England bowler James Anderson during the second day of the first Test at Trent Bridge on July 10.

Anderson will learn his own fate after a separate hearing, which will be held on Friday, August 1.
