OXFORD enjoyed a bonus point 24-7 win at home to Aldermaston in the BB&O Championship.
The forwards dominated the opening exchanges for the home side.
But they only led 7-0 at halftime, thanks to Stuart Waknell’s converted try.
Oxford stepped up a gear after the break to add three further scores through Ryan Walsh, Dan Kimber and Nemani Rayabo.
The latter also kicked two conversions, before the visitors grabbed a late consolation.
Second-placed Chipping Norton resisted a late Harwell challenge to win 33-28 away from home.
Tries from Lee Lewis and Andy Lee, with a conversion and a penalty from Mike Phillips, gave the hosts a 15-14 half-time lead.
Chippy replied to Andy Blease’s try after the break, before Kev Wood’s score put Harwell 25-19 ahead.
Two converted tries put the visitors in front, but Harwell responded through a Phillips penalty before they were held up late on.
Leaders Littlemore beat Berkshire Shire Hall 27-20, while Faringdon won 16-10 at Farnham Royal.
In the Premier, Abingdon enjoyed only their second win of the season in a 22-20 victory over Phoenix and Didcot triumphed 28-22 against Crowthorne.
