GOSFORD All Blacks stretched their lead at the top of the table to ten points after beating title rivals and previously unbeaten Milton Keynes 36-12 at home.

The victory leaves them in pole position to win promotion from the BB&O Premier with four matches remaining, despite Saturday’s opponents having a game in hand.

All Blacks ran in six tries within 65 minutes with some eye-catching open rugby.

It only took four minutes for the hosts to open the scoring as Will Watts burst over for an unconverted try.

On 26 minutes it was 12-0 with Harry Sutton crossing and Watts adding the extras.

The home side were dominating and after Ben Bodinham charged down a clearance kick, Dan Hughes pounced to dot down.

Watts converted to make it 19-0 at half-time.

Gosford secured the four-try bonus point on 50 minutes when Rich Robbins dived over. Watts added the extras.

The visitors had Brian Purcell sin-binned for stamping and All Blacks took advantage as Liam Beesley went over to make it 31-0.

And on 65 minutes they racked up 36 points when Bodinham dived over.

Milton Keynes sparked a late revival with Mike Fitzgerald and Rob Matthews crossing.

Purcell converted the second score, but Gosford were already out of sight.
