Bicester produced a stunning comeback in Southern Counties North to overturn an 11-point deficit and beat Drifters 24-18.

The hosts were 18-7 down with 25 minutes remaining, before three tries turned the match on its head and earned Bicester a bonus point win.

Mike Harris, Tom Miles and Matt Dye went over the whitewash to complete the comeback.

No 8 Dan Spencer scored Bicester's other try, while Miles kicked two conversions.

Drifters had led through tries from Robert Wills and George Kempster, while Matt Brown was successful with two penalties and a conversion.

No 8 Matt Flegg scored two tries as Alchester ended a ten-match losing streak in a 28-19 win at home to bottom side Milton Keynes.

Andy Harbottle and Adam Thompson also went over as Alchester recorded just their second victory of the season.

Thompson was also successful with two penalties and a conversion.

The bonus point win puts second-bottom Alchester six points clear of their fellow strugglers.

Wallingford were beaten for the first time at home this year as second-placed Royal Wootton Bassett earned a 29-8 victory.

The hosts led for an hour, but second-placed Wootton Bassett finished with a flourish to claim a bonus point win.

Pete Holton gave Wallingford the lead with a try, which they held on to despite Antony Marris being sin-binned for persistent infringement.

However, the visitors took advantage of mistakes by the hosts to scored three well-taken tries in a ten- minute spell.

A Tom Swainston penalty reduced the deficit, before Wootton Bassett added a fourth try from the last play of the game.
