OXFORD United’s supporters are set to deliver a double charity boost following last weekend’s walk.
A total of 40 U’s fans, women players and Milk Cup-winner Les Phillips covered one of three 12-mile routes to the Kassam Stadium.
Almost £300 was raised in a collection ahead of the 3-0 win against Mansfield Town, but it is hoped the final total could rise above £2,000.
The proceeds will be split between United’s Community Trust and Oxford Domestic Abuse Services.
