MORE than 500 flags have been delivered as part of the plans for Yellow Army Day tomorrow.

A big effort is being made to boost the atmosphere for Oxford United’s home game against Wycombe Wanderers.

In addition to hundreds of blue and yellow flags, split between the East Stand and family area, supporters are being encouraged to bring their own flags to decorate the fence at the west end.

There will also be live music in the Manor Bar, which has been made free entry, along with a host of activities aimed at younger fans.

Joe Nicholls, from the Yellow Army, said: “My goal for the Yellow Army, is for everyone to see it as the whole fanbase.

“The biggest part of the day is uniting the fans in support of Oxford United.

“We want the support to be as big and loud as possible.

“Every fan can play their part by turning up, or inviting friends and family.”
