DIDCOT Town scored twice in injury time to snatch a dramatic 3-3 draw away to Kidlington in the Evo-Stik South League West Division yesterday.

The hosts appeared to have sealed victory when Mark Janes headed home to make it 3-1 in the 85th minute.

But Josh Pin netted in the first minute of injury time and Sam Elkins sensationally equalised with an overhead kick.

Earlier, Kidlington had taken a fifth-minute lead through Lance Williams.

Felipe Barcelos equalised for Didcot on the half-hour, before Anaclet Odhiambo restored Kidlington’s lead.

But Didcot’s comeback clinched a share of the spoils.

On Saturday, Kidlington lost 3-1 at Yate for their third successive defeat.

Duran Martin’s penalty put the visitors in front, but the hosts equalised before the break thanks to Ben Brooks.

A Nick Pearce strike and Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist penalty made it 3-1 in the second half.

Didcot missed a late penalty in a goalless draw at home to Bideford Town on Saturday.

The Railwaymen were forced to settle for a point after Barcelos’s spot-kick, awarded for a foul on George Reid, was saved by Steve Oliver.

Until then, the hosts’ best chances had fallen in the first half to Marlon Agyakwa and Reid.

At the other end, Didcot keeper Leigh Bedwell made two outstanding saves.

North Leigh fell to a second defeat in three days as they lost 2-0 at home to Evesham United yesterday.

Lewis Powell put the visitors in front on 26 minutes and Matthew Liddiard headed home after the break.

A super display from goalkeeper Manny Agboola could not prevent the Millers suffering a 1-0 defeat at Bristol Manor Farm on Saturday.

Agboola foiled Kye Holly and Jamie Turner in the first half.

Seacole hit a post for the Millers, but Holly earned victory in the 37th minute.

Banbury United lost 2-1 at home to Dunstable Town in the Premier Division.

Jack Self fired the Puritans into a 13th-minute lead.

But it was quickly cancelled out by Kieran Ogden.

Peter Kioso then scored the winner with 18 minutes to go.

A late Luke Carnell header earned Banbury a 1-1 draw at Biggleswade Town on Saturday.

The hosts had taken the lead on 53 minutes through Robbie Parker.

Thame United fell to a 1-0 defeat at AFC Dunstable in the East Division yesterday.

The deadlock was broken on 67 minutes when BJ Christie scored from close range.

Brett Longden was sent off for the hosts with six minutes left, but Mark West’s side were unable to equalise.

On Saturday, Thame beat visitors Chalfont St Peter 4-1.

They scored three goals in 12 first-half minutes through Dan West, Ellis Hercules and Adam Morris.

Chalfont pulled a goal back through Victor Osubu in the 75th minute, but West sealed the points with his second two minutes from time.
