BANBURY missed out on a place in the top three as their season-finale at Slough fell foul of the weekend’s heavy rain.
It means Lloyd Sabin’s side finish fourth in Division 1, with High Wycombe, who beat Reading, leapfrogging them on the final day of the Home Counties Premier League.
Banbury were dismissed for 199 after electing to bat. Teenage opener Olly Clarke top-scored with 45, while captain Lloyd Sabin contributing 33.
Slough were on 78-3 in reply when the match was abandoned.
