FOUR goals in 15 second-half minutes guided Banbury United to a 4-2 win over Hednesford Town in pre-season.
Mark Janes (2), Mark Bell and Felipe Barcelos were all on the scoresheet as Mike Ford’s men continued their preparations for the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division.
Danny Glover had given Hednesford a first-half lead, but Banbury were quick out of the blocks after the break.
They were 2-1 up after just ten minutes of the second half, with former Didcot Town player Janes netting from Bell and Darius Browne crosses.
On 52 minutes it was 3-1 as Bell found the bottom corner.
Liam Molesworth immediately pulled a goal back, but Banbury grabbed their fourth on 66 minutes, with Barcelos slotting home.
The Puritans have now won three games in a row, following their 2-1 victories over Brackley Town and Easington Sports.
