IN-FORM Banbury United hammered basement club Bashley 5-0 to move up to fourth in the table.
The visitors took the lead with an eighth-minute penalty converted by Ricky Johnson after he had been brought down by keeper Kieran Greene.
But the Puritans’ leading scorer saw a second spotkick saved, after a foul on Felipe Barcelos.
With the offender Aaron Dunne being sent off, Banbury dominated against ten men.
Three minutes before half-time, George Nash made it 2-0 from Callum White’s cross.
And it became 3-0 when Banbury were awarded their third penalty of the game for a foul on Callum White.
Mark Bell took over the spot-kick duties and made no mistake.
Darius Browne made it 4-0 five minutes later after good work by Bell and Barcelos, before substitute Leam Howards completed their nap hand.
