RICKY Johnson bagged a four-timer as Banbury United moved back into the play-off places with a commanding 5-0 win over Larkhall Athletic.
It turned out to be a day of celebrations as the Puritans welcomed former players to mark 50 years since the club changed its name from Banbury Spencer.
A Neil Arndale own goal put the hosts ahead in the second minute of the Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West fixture.
Johnson then doubled their advantage from the penalty spot and added another from six yards.
He then headed home to complete his hat-trick five minutes before the break.
Banbury controlled proceedings and Johnson converted from close range to make it 5-0 on 86 minutes.
United's Oxfordshire Senior Cup tie at Oxford City on Tuesday night was postponed due to their opponents' involvement in the FA Trophy.
They visit rock bottom Bashley this Saturday.
