Chipping Norton will open their new 'Tony Cripps Pitch' on August 30 by playing the Royal Fusiliers (12.30) and hosting a family fun day.
The re-laid pitch, named after club founder Cripps, who was killed last year, will be used in a match for the first time that day.
An auction of sporting memorabilia, including items signed by Jason Robinson, David Beckham, Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney, is expected to prove popular.
Chippy have teamed up with Armed Forces charity Help for Heroes, who will receive half the funds raised with the club getting the rest.
"We are pleased to be able to help our local community and organisations such as Help for Heroes who do so much to support our serving men and women", said Ian Merriman, managing director of Cardwell Marketing."
Witney have a new sponsor in Mitsubishi and are looking for new players as they prepare for the coming season.
Mitsubishi's name and logo will go on a new set of shirts along with existing sponsor Troy.
Witney will be fielding four senior teams, with their first XV in Southern Counties North, plus a ladies' side.
All the men's captains stay in place, with Jez Hicks leading the first team, while Andrea Thomas captains the ladies.

Didcot are looking to boost their senior and junior playing numbers as they celebrate their 75th anniversary.
The club, whose first team play in BB&O Division 1 South, hope to field under 12 and 14 sides this year. They are also looking to introduce a social second team and a ladies' side.
