KARL Robinson believes Oxford United’s toughest challenge today will be keeping Barnsley’s front two quiet.

Tom Bradshaw was the Tykes’ top scorer last season with a dozen goals and netted 20 times for Walsall the last time he played in League One, in 2015/16.

Kieffer Moore bagged 13 in the third tier for Rotherham United by November last season before signing for Barnsley in January.

Robinson believes the pair are as good a duo as United will come up against all season.

He said: “Arguably they’ve got two of the best strikers in the league in Bradshaw and Moore.

“It doesn’t get much better than that.

“They’ve got good players all over the pitch, they’re a Championship team with Championship players, but we’ll see.”

United go into the game with all but one senior player available for selection.

Loan signing Marcus Browne only trained with the squad for the first time on Thursday after resting a minor knee issue he picked up in pre-season with parent club West Ham.

Barnsley are likely to be without left back Zeki Fryers and winger Ryan Hedges due to ankle injuries.
