BANBURY found themselves outclassed as they suffered a heavy 38-0 defeat at unbeaten league leaders Maidenhead on Saturday.
The north Oxfordshire side, who are newly promoted to the sixth tier of English rugby, conceded four tries in the first half to trail 24-0 at the break in the South West 1 East clash.
Banbury improved in the second half, cutting out the loose passes and unforced errors, but conceded two scores in the last 20 minutes.
They now bid to arrest a run of two successive defeats when they welcome second-placed Newbury Blues to Bodicote Park this weekend.
