BANBURY United manager Mike Ford is looking forward to welcoming Eastleigh to the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium as his side prepare for their return to the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division.
The Puritans will host the Vanarama National League side in a pre-season friendly on Thursday July 7.
With several former Oxford United players likely to feature for the visitors, Ford – a former U's star himself – is hopeful of a good turnout.
"James Constable was a real fan favourite during his time at Oxford and he will hopefully be involved," he said.
"I think they have another one or two who also have an Oxford connection, so it's definitely a good opportunity for any Oxford United fans in the area to come down and see us play."
