BANBURY United played out a goalless draw at home to Evesham United in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West on Monday.
Puritans keeper Jack Harding was the busier, denying George Washbourne and Liam Harding.
Both sides struggled to create chances in the second half.
However, Nick Stanley thought he had won it for the visitors in injury time, but his effort was ruled out for offside.
On Saturday, the Puritans had Andy Gunn sent off as they lost 5-2 at Hartley Wintney in the preliminary round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Duran Martin put Banbury ahead, but Rossi Cook equalised.
Gunn was dismissed for a foul in the area, but Harding saved the resultant penalty.
Mark Bell made it 2-1 to Banbury, but the hosts won it through Steven Duff and Cook, who completed his-hat-trick.
