JOSH Ruffels is hoping contract talks with Oxford United can end on a positive note.
The 20-year-old has been the biggest success of the development squad’s inaugural season, making 25 appearances for the first team.
Ruffels, from Kidlington, is out of contract this summer, but negotiations have begun and the midfielder is keen to stay.
He said: “I love it here at Oxford and I’m committed to the club.
“It’s a great club to be at for the development lads.
“We’ve been given chances to play and prove ourselves, and I think that’s what you want as a young player.”
