SHWAN Jalal has joined Oxford United on a month-long loan deal following an injury to Max Crocombe.
The 30-year-old trained with the squad for the first time today and will go straight into the squad to face Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
Crocombe, who is back-up to Ryan Clarke, injured a shoulder playing for the U's development squad last week and has not recovered.
United also have player/goalkeeping coach Wayne Brown, plus youth team goalkeepers Josh Hill and Eddie Cavanagh on the sidelines.
