ANTONIO German scored twice as Oxford United’s development squad lost 2-0 at Gillingham yesterday.
Josh Shama came closest to scoring for the visitors at Priestfield, twice firing chances wide in the first half.
The deadlock in a tight game was broken on 59 minutes, when Matt Bevans was penalised for handball in the box.
German slotted away the penalty and the striker, who has 69 first-team appearances under his belt, added a second nine minutes later.
