Oxford United were unable to break down basement boys Woking as the first half of their Blue Square Premier clash ended goalless.

United's Chris Carruthers went closest to scoring with a shot which hit the bar.

is that the best you can do its 11 v 11 patto is a good manager how can you judge him after 5 games this season

sadly he shot himself in the foot, he just got the team going at the end of last season and he changed so much in terms of personnel that he has to start again, this smacks of him cutting his nose off to spite his face, a new man in now, a proven man, and next season we might, just might make the playoffs, status quo equals midtable for two season minimal!

Least we didn't ship any goals. No point changing Patto yet this early on. I agree if the trend continues it is fairly worrying but with key players coming back and no more red cards. I reckon we will come good.

Shockingly mind numbingly bad. I have been supporting patterson -up until now, today he ran out of excuses and unless there is marked improvement in the next 2/3 matches -he should go.
Yet another embarrassment against the basement boys, how often have we played teams over the last two seasons who end their losing run against us? Too often, far too often. Atrocious.

I was speaking to someone very well connected to the club who said that the club must get promotion this season, or take the drastic step of going part time next season.

For a change i went to watch my local side rather than paying out to watch my home team (My first visit to the manor 1968 !)

How nice to see a team passing the ball and the players commited to their team, why o why havent we scouted the non league for non league players !!!! half that maidstone team would do a far better job for Oxford than what we have now !!! Also the Hastings programme had the usual on this day for some reason they mentioned Oxford V Chelsea 1986 & 1952 Hastings V Oxford (Headington Utd) I realy cant dream of us playing Chelsea ! But Hastings thats another thing ! WE ARE NON LEAGUE AND WE NEED NON LEAGUE PLAYERS NOW !
Maidstone Won 4 . 0 away PS THEY DO NOT OWN THERE OWN GROUND EITHER !

Oh dear (once again!)

Cant wait to take the short trip up the M2 to see the Yellows at Ebbsfleet on Saturday. We had a great game against them end of last season so lets hope our season finally kicks off there!

What odds on Jamie Hand scoring against us? :(

COME ON YOU YELLOWS!

P.S. Part time? You're having a laugh surely!
