Police checked up on county scrap dealers yesterday as part of a nationwide crackdown on metal theft.
Thames Valley Police stopped drivers to make sure they were carrying scrap metal with the necessary licences.
They also visited dealers to make sure they were taking the details of people selling them metal for cash.
