ACTION for Children is looking for well-connected businessmen they can kidnap and hold for ransom.
The children’s charity will imprison community and business leaders at Oxford Castle and demand a £1,000 ransom fee.
The event is designed to highlight the plight of vulnerable children held in captivity around the world and takes place on Wednesday, September 26, from 10am to 1pm.
Captives must have their ransom paid before they can taste freedom and lunch.
Madeleine Clarke, fundraiser for Action for Children, said: “Armed with a mobile phone, a laptop and a list of business contacts and friends, you will be tasked securing your release. But beware, no ransom and it will be hard labour and gruel.”
