LET me spell it out to you: you've accomplished your mission to the letter.

Alright I'll admit it, we're pushing it on one or two of these – and for some reason F and R were particularly tricky – but you did it: you managed to find an entire alphabet in vineyards, bike racks and safari parks.

Admittedly we did have to use a letter E by Ann Faulkner which doesn't exactly look like a natural formation, but some of these are very clever spots.

Lauren Crawley's lower-case h in a crumbling tower and archway deserves special mention as does the Z which Julian Philp found in an old wooden doorway.

Angelina Lawrence's coat hanger K and Tess Hennessy's door knocker Q both got us out of tight spots, while Tess's C, in the yawning mouth of what looks like a vicious baboon, was a particularly imaginative spot.

Gordon Craig thought his candy cane-striped stairway looked like an E, but luckily we saw an F (luckily as we didn't get a single other F to choose from).

Lesley Adams, who suggested this whole letter quest in the first place, contributed more than her fair share, with her bike rack B, a whole selection of Gs on this manhole cover, and a perfect plasterwork P in a staircase at Headington Hill Hall.

We were also inundated with a host of natural numbers including a 7, several 8s and even a 99 – but sadly no space for them here!

Massive thanks to everyone who helped us complete our camera club alphabet.

Next week's theme, given we're 'expecting some weather' as our American cousins would say – Baby It's Cold Outside.

Wrap up warm, and happy snapping!
