BBC’s Crimewatch is coming live from Thames Valley Police HQ in Kidlington at 9pm tonight.

The show’s main appeal is to find a man who sexually assaulted two six-year-old girls, while they were playing inside one of the towers at Legoland in Windsor.

Thames Valley Police is making a national appeal via Crimewatch in relation to the crime, which happened during the summer holidays at Castaway Camp in Pirate Shores, between about 12.15pm and 12.30pm on Thursday August 11.

The force says the man touched the victims inappropriately while they were playing inside one of the towers.

It is beleived the incident lasted about two minutes.

Detectives said the man was also seen talking to other children and offering to help lift them onto play equipment.

The white man, in his teens or early twenties, is possibly under 5ft 8ins.

He was wearing dark-coloured slim fitting trousers, a dark-coloured T-shirt, and trainers.

Investigating officer, Det Chief Insp Andy Howard of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, said: "We continue to appeal for the public’s help to find the person responsible for this offence.

"The offender may have travelled to LEGOLAND Windsor on the day of the offence with others; either his own family or with friends, however at the time of the offence he was described as being alone.

"Please look at the E-Fit; this man is somebody’s son, and he could be somebody’s father, partner or brother.

"Someone will know who he is and I would urge you to come forward with information. Any names that the public put forward can be implicated or eliminated from our investigation very quickly.

A 22-year-old man from Bracknell previously arrested in connection with the investigation had been re-bailed but has now been released without charge.
