Salad lovers urged to wash leaves after E.coli outbreak
SALAD lovers across Oxfordshire are being urged to thoroughly wash pre-packed leaves after concerns the food may be the source of an E.coli outbreak.
So far 151 people have been affected by a strain of the E.coli infection and two individuals have died from it.
Public Health England has sent out a warning after it was discovered several of the people affected had eaten pre-packed salad including rocket leaves before becoming unwell.
The exact cause of the outbreak has not yet been established.
