Two men stole Dyson vacuum cleaners from Currys PC World in Didcot and evaded security guards.
The men went into the Oracle centre shop at around 1pm on Saturday, picked up the vacuum cleaners and walked out, setting off the alarms, police said.
Thames Valley Police has released CCTV images of the man officers want to speak to in relation to the incident and believe it may be linked to other shoplifting incidents in Bristol and Gloucestershire.
Police also called for witnesses to a burglary earlier this month which saw electronics, cash and a purse stolen from a home in Dart Drive while the resident were asleep upstairs.
It took place between 11.45pm on Friday June 17 and 3am on Saturday June 18.
