Oxfordshire to be hit by 50mph winds as Met Office issues severe weather warning
WINDS of up to 50mph could hit the county this afternoon.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind from 2pm today until 6pm tomorrow.
A yellow warning suggests the public be aware of potential disruption to outdoor activities and transport as well as damage to trees.
Gusts of 40-50mph are expected later today and again tomorrow afternoon.
