SOME of Oxfordshire’s most dazzling archaeological treasures will be going on display next month.
The exhibition at The Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock, called Unearthed: Riches of the Romans and Anglo-Saxons, features a number of artefacts from Roman and Anglo-Saxon Oxfordshire which have not been seen on display before.
County collections project officer Anna Griffiths said: “It looks at some of the really interesting archaeological items in the county collections from the first millenium AD. There are a couple of Roman objects and lots of really beautiful Anglo-Saxon ones.”
The exhibition starts on Saturday, February 8 and is open until Sunday, April 27.
