Flood warnings remain in place across the county today.
The Environment Agency has 16 ‘Flood Watches’ in force across the region, including the Thames and its tributaries in the Oxford area.
Other rivers still on alert include the River Ray in Oxfordshire and the Thames from Buscot to King’s Lock above Oxford.
Elsewhere in the county, the River Ock in Abingdon, the Letcombe Brook around Wantage, and the Thame and Chalgrove Brook also have Flood Watches on them.
Flood Watches indicate flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected.
