Firefighters tackled bungalow blaze

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at two bungalows in Bodicote shortly after 5pm yesterday.

Four fire crews — two from Banbury, one from Hook Norton and one from Deddington — fought against the blaze which completely destroyed the roof of one home in Freemans Road, and partially destroyed a second.

No one is believed to have been injured and the incident is still being investigated by Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
