Woman hurt in Banbury assault

A woman was taken to hospital following an assault in the centre of Banbury.
The incident happened outside the Marlborough Arms in Gatteridge Street shortly after 2.30pm yesterday.
The 28-year-old woman was taken to the Horton Hospital with head injuries.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance at premises in Broad Street at about 2.45pm A 46-year-old man was arrested and was tonight in custody.
