BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

ROSS FRENCH, 20, of Danesmoor, Banbury, admitted driving a vehicle above the legal alcohol limit on September 23 in Bicester with 63 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 17 months.

ROBBIE GLEESON, 51, of Green Lane, Ewelme, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit in Bicester Road, Kidlington on September 23. He was fined £764 and must pay a victim surcharge of £76 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

PHILLIP SMITH, 29, of Meadowlands Drive, Sheffield, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis as a driver at Banbury Police Station on September 23. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 48 months.

CARL AUSTIN, 30, of Brome Way, Carterton, admitted failing to comply with a community order by failing to attend unpaid work. He was ordered to continue and fined £100.

RICHARD BRADLEY, 50, of Shipton-Under-Wychwood was convicted of assaulting a man on March 26 at Enstone, near Chipping Norton. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £150.

CONSTANTIN CRISTEA, 33, of Halliday Hill, Headington, Oxford, admitted driving a vehicle above the legal alcohol limit at Bletchingdon Road, Kidlington on September 24. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 240 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 30 months.

ALEXANDER MCLELLAN, 55, of High Street, Banbury, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis as a driver on August 27 at Banbury. He was fined £266 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 17 months.

GARY WICKENS, 35, of Leach Road, Bicester admitted stealing groceries from Tesco, Bicester, to a value unknown on July 21 and three bottles of Persil washing liquid from Wilko, Bicester, on April 4 valued at £33, and eight Easter eggs from Tesco Express, Bicester valued at £44 on April 9 as well as breaching a criminal behaviour order by entering Wilkinson’s. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay compensation of £33 and £44.

DAVID PAYNE, 30, of Parsons Piece, Banbury, admitted using a coloured television receiver without a television licence on November 11 at the Parsons Piece address. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £40.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

RAZVAN SPIRIDON, 22, of Marlborough Road, Banbury, was convicted for failing to provide information relating to the driver of a Vauxhall Vectra in Banbury, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He was fined £600 and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for six months.

NICHOLAS SUMNERS, 52, of Dark Lane, Sunningwell, Abingdon, was convicted of speeding by driving his Mercedes at 58mph in a 50mph zone on the A4142, Eastern Bypass, on September 1 last year. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

MARTIN DAVIS, 54, of Stonehill Lane, Southmoor, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in Stonehill Lane on October 15. Had 120mcg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mcg. He was ordered to complete 250 hours of unpaid work, pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for 28 months.

JORDAN HICKS, 18, of Stockham Park, Wantage, admitted to using racially abusive words or behaviour which distressed staff and patrons of Masoom's restaurant in Wallingford Street, Wantage, on October 14. He also admitted to assaulting two men and damaging a door at the same location. He was ordered to complete 180 hours of unpaid work and pay compensation of £150 for one victim, £200 for another victim and £50 for the door. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

NUTTAWOOT VONGSAKUL, 38, of Hollybush Row, Oxford, admitted to failing to provide a specimen of breath to police in Abington on October 14. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for 36 months.

PAUL WOODHALL, 44, of St Mary’s, Wantage, admitted to possessing 23.899 grams of cannabis, a controlled class B drug, in St Mary’s, Wantage, on April 28. He was ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work, pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £50. An order was made for the cannabis to be destroyed.

RAMUNAS BAGACIOVAS, 42, of Strawberry Path, Oxford, admitted to failing to provide a specimen of breath to police at Abingdon Police Station, in Colwell Drive, on August 12.

He was ordered to complete 180 hours of unpaid work, pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £200. He was banned from driving for 42 months.

ANDREW DARLING, 25, of St Nicholas Road, Oxford, admitted to sending an abusive voicemail that was grossly offensive. He was given a restraining order preventing him from contacting a woman or going to Bartholomew Road, Oxford. He was also fined £415, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £41 and court costs of £85.
