A traveller family accused of a slavery offence will face a retrial after jurors failed to reach a verdict.
Christopher Joyce and his three children, Mary Joyce, Timothy Joyce Senior and Helen Collins, deny conspiring to require Nick Iliff to perform forced or compulsory labour.
But jurors were discharged on Monday after they were unable to reach a verdict after 12 hours’ of deliberation.
Prosecutor Rachel Blake said the Crown Prosecution Service would seek a retrial during a hearing at Oxford Crown Court.
Mr Joyce and his three children,of Redbridge Hollow caravan site are due to appear at the same courtfor retrial on June 6.
