A 16-year-old boy was headbutted by a stranger at Banbury bus station.

Thames Valley Police said the attack happened on Thursday, at about 5.30pm, when the boy was standing in a queue at the bus station in Bridge Street.

The man then spoke to the victim before headbutting him, leaving him feeling dizzy.

The teenager went to the Horton Hospital for treatment and was later allowed to go home.

The offender is white, aged about 19 to 20 years old, 5ft 10ins, slim, with short hair, and was wearing sports clothing including grey tracksuit bottoms.

He was with another man who is white, 5ft 10ins, slim, pale with stubble, and was approaching members of the public with a coin in his hand.

The offender was also with a woman aged about 19 to 20 years old, pale with straight long hair, who was wearing tight trousers.

She was with a large black dog which appeared similar to a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Investigating officer PC Ruth Ivins, from Banbury police station, said: “If you have any information which could assist the investigation or recognise the description of the offender and those he was with please call us.”
