A Grade II listed bridge on the A4095 could be closed to wide vehicles until at least November.
Radcot Bridge, which crosses the River Thames between Faringdon and Carterton as part of the A4095, closed on August 11 after it was hit by a lorry. It reopened on August 19 with temporary barriers in place to allow traffic to use the road until full repairs can be carried out.
The barriers have narrowed the road so it cannot be used by vehicles wider than 2.3m.
The county council has now said it is unlikely repairs will happen until November.
