ONE man’s trash is another man’s treasure – a saying one art exhibition aims to prove.
Recycled material from across the world has been turned into useful objects for a show at the Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock.
Created by company Know Trash, the exhibition includes jewellery, toy cars, woven plastic and push bikes which are made from materials originating in Senegal and the UK.
Museum staff member Lorraine Horne said: “The exhibition shows the public the many innovative possibilities for objects that would otherwise be destined to end up in a bin .”
Until November, the museum will run a recycling workshop for children every Wednesday.
