A MULTI-MILLION pound estate that includes a hotel and housing has been sold in Oxfordshire.
The grand plot, with a £3.95m guide price, in Heathfield Village, Bletchingdon includes the Oxfordshire Inn hotel, a golf driving range, residential properties and agricultural land.
Estate agents Savills sold the final area of the 229-acre plot, including the hotel and a farmhouse and studio, on behalf of a private client.
Associate in hotel, leisure and trading at Savills Oxford Kay Griffiths said: “This considerable property situated in the heart of rural Oxford offered significant potential with a variety of lots and with a mixture of usages."
“The purchaser of The Oxfordshire Inn hotel and lot three [a farmhouse, studio and property used previously as a beauty therapy room] mark the completion of the sale of the entire estate, and we are very pleased with the overall price we were able to achieve for our client.”
The hotel, with a guide price on its own of £895,000, and land are about four miles from the city centre near junction 9 of the M40.
The 16,089 sq ft Oxfordshire Inn hotel has 28 bedrooms across four buildings on the site.
It also has a function room, bar and restaurant, kitchen and office space.
