BIN collections in Cherwell will not change, apart from those on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

People having waste collected on Christmas Day need to put out their rubbish on Monday, December 22.

Collections due on Boxing Day will be made on Saturday, December 27.

Anyone who would expect to put bins out on New Year’s Day will have rubbish collected on Monday, December 29, instead.

Council offices will see changes in their hours too.

Cherwell’s offices at Bodicote House and its Link Points in Banbury, Bicester and Kidlington will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

The offices and Link Points will reopen at 8.45am on Monday, December 29, and operate as normal until Wednesday, December 31, when they will close early at 4pm. On New Year’s Day offices and Link Points will be closed and will reopen as normal on Friday, January 2, at 8.45am.

The council’s website will still provide information over the festive season at cherwell.gov.uk
