OXFORD

Hasan Abassi , 22, of Bulan Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on June 15. Fined £45, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Andrew Routledge , 38, of Witney Street, Burford, admitted drink-driving in Clay Lane, Benson, on May 2 and failing to surrender to court bail on August 7. Had 42 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £350, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Laura Fisher , 30, of Leach Road, Berinsfield, admitted 14 charges of failing to notify South Oxfordshire District Council about a change in circumstances, namely commencing employment, affecting her entitlement to benefit. Given a 24-month conditional discharge.

Sam Muiruri , 19, of Acacia Avenue, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Between Towns Road, Oxford, on July 28 and Acacia Avenue, Oxford, on June 15. Fined £75, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

Robert Pyne , 38, of George Moore Close, Oxford, admitted shoplifting tobacco, shampoo, coffee and dishwasher tablets from Co-op in Kennington on July 1. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

Marcin Witkowski , 33, of Ashhurst Way, Oxford, admitted driving without insurance, without a licence and drink-driving in Danvers Road, Oxford, on July 14. Had 53 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £450, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 14 months.

Gavin Bustins , 32, of Oxford Road, Cowley, admitted driving without due care and attention, driving without a licence and failing to stop after a road traffic accident in Maidcroft Road, Oxford, on May 28. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £30 costs. Also told to pay £100 compensation and given five penalty points.

Joanne Webb , 36, of Dashwood Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a leg of lamb valued at £11.17 from Co-op in Banbury Road, Oxford, on July 10. Fined £50 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Brad Ayres , 20, of Godstow Road, Wolvercote, admitted stealing a Garmin sat nav valued at £150 in Oxford on February 29. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Calvin Welch , 24, of Blackbird Leys Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly and possessing cannabis (Class B) in Besselsleigh Road, Wootton, on July 25. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Also given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Karl Welch , 28, of Stowood Close, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly, possessing cannabis (Class B) and assaulting a police constable in Besselsleigh Road, Wootton, on July 25. Fined £175, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Also given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Darren Holden , 24, of Strawberry Path, Oxford, admitted driving without insurance, driving without a licence and drink-driving in Mercury Road, Oxford, on July 28. Had 60 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £350, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

Paul Arnold , 36, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on December 9, 2011; assault by beating in Oxford on February 28; and possession of cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on May 25. Given a year’s supervision, fined £135, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

Timothy Triggs , 49, of Holly Close, Highmoor Cross, Henley-on-Thames, admitted failing to attend a follow-up drug assessment in Cowley Road, Oxford, on April 13 and failing to surrender to court bail on July 24. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £60 costs.

Grant Adams , 40, of no fixed address, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Oxford on March 24. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £50 costs.

Oliver Joy , 32, of Pearce Way, Thame, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Wheatley on February 8. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £250 costs.

Dexter Thompson , 30, of Geoffrey Barbour Road, Abingdon, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on April 24 and in Abingdon on July 4. Fined £70, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Barry Osborne , 27, of Bernwood Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on July 13. Given a one-year conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Darren Sanders , 44, of The Hamel, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a selection of men’s goods valued at £45.39 from Leys Pharmacy, Oxford, on July 20. Given a four-month daily curfew between the hours of 6pm and 6am and told to pay £50 costs and £45.39 compensation.

BANBURY

Tomas Fellows , 24, of Meadow End, Fulbrook, Burford, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Judd’s Close, Witney, on March 24. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Carol Glynn , 66, of Church Rise, Finstock, admitted driving without due care and attention in Sainsbury’s car park, Witan Way, Witney, on May 12. Fined £90, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given six penalty points.

Karen Mayo , 36, of Windle Gardens, Bicester, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Bicester on April 6. Fined £75, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Leigh Travers , 22, of Chandlers Court, Abingdon, admitted drink driving in Stanton Harcourt Road, Witney, on July 27. Had 57 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £330, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 15 months.

Leam Warren , 19, of Bath Road, Banbury, admitted possessing eight wraps of cannabis (Class B) in Banbury on July 24 and commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Original offence of possessing three bags of cannabis in Banbury on February 9 resentenced. Given 60 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £40 costs.

John Simms , 51, of Fox Close, Chipping Norton, admitted producing cannabis (Class B) in Chipping Norton on June 12. Given 40 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £85 costs.

Paul Simpson , 30, of Kestrel Way, Bicester, convicted of being drunk and disorderly in London Road, Bicester, on November 12. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £200 costs.
