People convicted of offences at Magistrates' Courts around the county recently
BANBURY
David Turnock , 44, of Fane Drive, Berinsfield, admitted causing £264.40 of criminal damage to a taxi window. Also convicted of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and assault by beating in Little Chesterton on June 4. Told to do a four-day restorative-justice programme and a year’s supervision. Also told to pay £264.40 and £185.60 compensation, plus £550 costs.
Victor Cheek , 42, of Moor Pond Close, Bicester, admitted theft by an employee of £9,837.75 in Shennington. Given a 12-week jail term, suspended for two years, with two years’ supervision and 250 hours’ unpaid work. Also told to pay £85 costs and £3,859 compensation.
Trevor Jackson , 49, of Merton Street, Banbury, admitted possessing heroin (Class A) and cannabis (Class B) in Banbury on May 12. Fined £100 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
